Years2025–present
The updated manual NT1100 retains the 1,084 cc parallel twin but delivers more pulling power than the earlier version, at 112 Nm. At 238 kg kerb weight, with an 820 mm seat and 20.4-litre tank, it is the clear choice for riders who want modern touring comfort with a conventional six-speed gearbox.

Years2025–present
The NT1100 DCT Electronic Suspension is the most comprehensively equipped current version. Alongside DCT it gets Showa EERA electronically controlled suspension, allowing damping to adapt better to load and riding conditions. Its 1,084 cc twin produces 75 kW and 112 Nm, while kerb weight is 249 kg.

Years2025–present
The current NT1100 DCT uses the stronger 112 Nm version of the 1,084 cc parallel twin with Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission. It is designed for effortless long distances and has a 248 kg kerb weight. Do not confuse it with the DCT Electronic Suspension version: that one has electronically controlled Showa suspension and weighs one kilogram more.

Years2022–2024
The first-generation NT1100 with a six-speed gearbox is the lightest choice in the original range. It combines the 1,084 cc parallel twin with a relaxed riding position, 20.4-litre tank and touring fairing. It suits riders who want to shift themselves and want a proper travel partner without the DCT weight.

Years2022–2024
The original NT1100 DCT pairs the same 1,084 cc twin with Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission. The automatic transmission makes relaxed touring and traffic especially easy, but brings kerb weight to 248 kg. Always check that DCT is explicitly stated in an advert; this version is 10 kg heavier than the manual NT1100.

The Honda NT1100 is a comfortable long-distance tourer powered by the characterful 1,084 cc parallel twin from the Africa Twin. Choose deliberately between the manual, DCT and DCT Electronic Suspension versions: their weight and equipment differ.
Check the DCT firmware on 2022 model-year units; some received an update covering low-gear shift behaviour.
The drive chain wears under the engine's torque; inspect stretch, lubrication and sprocket profile; replacement is pricier than on lighter bikes.
Front fork can show minor weeping at higher mileage; look for fluid traces below the dust seals.
TFT screen can be slow to bond over Bluetooth with some Android phones; test smartphone pairing during the viewing.
Rear shock is not preload-adjustable on the base model; with full luggage it can feel soft; check static sag on the side-stand.
