Price check by license plate

What is your motorcycle worth?

Enter your license plate. We look up your motorcycle at the RDW and compare asking prices at your mileage.

Free, no account needed.

How the price check works

The price check shows what comparable motorcycles cost. Enter your license plate and we get the brand, model and year from the RDW.

Next, we compare listings from the past 6 months from dealers and private sellers in the Netherlands. Motorcycles that have already sold or gone offline count too. Every dot in the chart is one listing. The line shows how the asking price changes per 10,000 kilometres.

Then choose your motorcycle's mileage. You immediately see the typical asking price and the range most motorcycles fall into. Note: these are asking prices from listings, not final sale prices.

Brand, model and year come from the RDW. Prices come from listings on Dutch sales sites and dealer websites over the past 6 months, rounded to € 50.

What decides the price of your motorcycle?

  • MileageMore kilometres usually means a lower asking price. The chart shows that curve for your model.
  • YearThe year determines the generation and version. The condition of the bike matters too.
  • MaintenanceA clear service history and recent maintenance give buyers confidence.
  • Options and accessoriesLuggage, a quickshifter or a different exhaust affect the price, but are not included in the price check.
  • Timing of the saleMore people look for a motorcycle in spring than in winter. Give your listing time.
