Tiger 900 GT Pro (updated)
GenerationThe 2024-on Tiger 900 GT Pro has a refined engine tune and broader electronics package while retaining the road-focused GT position. For 2024+ adverts, verify the correct GT Pro equipment, software and suspension; it must not be confused with Rally variants.

Tiger 900 GT / GT Pro
GenerationThe Tiger 900 GT is the road-focused version of the 888 cc T-Plane Tiger from 2020, with a 19-inch front wheel and lower seat than the Rally. GT Pro adds equipment, so check the exact package, electronic suspension where fitted, chain maintenance and registered 35 kW or full-power version.
About the Triumph Tiger 900 GT
The Triumph Tiger 900 GT is the road-biased member of the Tiger 900 family that replaced the long-running Tiger 800 in 2020. Under the tall tank sits an 888 cc inline triple with the distinctive T-plane crankshaft, giving the engine an unusually tractive character and an almost twin-like soundtrack. The GT trim runs 19/17-inch cast wheels, longer-travel road suspension and a comfortable touring stance with adjustable screen and optional heated grips.
With 95 hp and around 202 kg kerb weight the Tiger 900 GT is a solid long-distance all-rounder, solo or two-up with luggage. It targets riders who value comfort and equipment over true off-road ability; the Rally variants exist for harder dirt work. It competes with the BMW F 900 GS, KTM 890 Adventure and Yamaha Tracer 9 GT. Standard electronics include cornering ABS, traction control and multiple ride modes, with the GT Pro adding semi-active suspension and TPMS.

What to check before buying
- Early bikes (2020-2021) had recalls on the brake/clutch lever; confirm the fix has been applied.
- Inspect the exhaust headers for discolouration; prolonged urban use can cause a blue tint.
- Verify all ECU firmware updates have been installed; Triumph released several for smoother throttle response.
- Check the TFT reflectors and headlight aim; some owners report condensation after heavy rain.
- Confirm the 16,000 km / 32,000 km valve service is documented in the service history when buying used.
