The Triumph Street Triple R is a naked inline-three sports bike that has been in production since 2008. The liquid-cooled 675cc triple (expanded to 765cc from 2017) delivers a distinctive exhaust note and a broad, usable powerband. The chassis is derived from the Daytona supersport, resulting in sharp, precise steering without the extreme ergonomics of a full sportbike.
The Street Triple R is the mid-range variant equipped with Brembo brakes, fully adjustable Öhlins or Showa upside-down forks and riding modes, aimed at riders who want more than the base model. It targets experienced riders who commute daily but also enjoy spirited corner work. The riding position is sporty yet comfortable enough for longer stints. It competes directly with the Yamaha MT-09 and Kawasaki Z900.
