Years
1998 - 2003
The facelift GSX 750F gained a more modern-looking fairing and detail improvements while remaining an affordable carburetted sport-tourer. Choose it for the familiar inline-four comfort with less overtly eighties styling.
Years
1989 - 1997
The first GSX 750F is the distinctive broad-faired sport-tourer, often called the ‘Teapot’. Its protective fairing and relaxed engine tune suit commuting and touring far better than track use.
Years
1984 - 1987
The 750S Katana pairs the same air-cooled base engine with the striking angular Katana fairing and a sportier riding position. It is chiefly a collector choice, where originality of bodywork, exhaust and wheels strongly affects value.
Years
1980 - 1984
The original GSX 750E is an unfaired, air-cooled inline-four. Its rounded early-eighties styling suits riders after a classic Japanese all-rounder, rather than modern braking or suspension performance.
The Suzuki GSX 750 nameplate has been used since 1980 across markedly different inline-four motorcycles. The original 1980 GSX 750E was a naked sport-standard with an air-cooled 16-valve engine; the angular GSX 750 Katana arrived in 1985 and from 1989 the half-faired GSX 750 F (nicknamed the 'Teapot') carried the family forward as a budget sport-tourer until 2003. All generations share a 747-749 cc four-stroke inline-four, with a typical Dutch registration around 68 hp and a kerb weight of roughly 233 kg. The GSX 750 F is by far the most common variant on the used market.
These used bikes appeal to riders looking for an affordable, reliable all-round machine for commuting, long motorway stretches and weekend rides. Comfort is good thanks to the upright stance and the aerodynamic screen on the F models. Period rivals are the Honda CBR 600 F, Yamaha Diversion 600/900 and Kawasaki ZZR 600; the Suzuki stands out for the sheer breadth of used stock, low servicing costs and the kind of inline-four character that effortlessly clears city limits.
A used Suzuki GSX 750 costs €1,800 on average. Most cost €985 to €6,190. This is based on 47 motorcycles for sale now.
