V 85 TT

The Moto Guzzi V85 TT is the mid-size adventure roadster the brand launched in 2019 to bridge the gap between the V7 and the heavier Stelvio segment. The heart is the 853 cc air-cooled, transverse 90-degree V-twin with shaft drive, a new engine that also forms the basis for the modern V7 850 and V9. Power sits around 80 hp with 80 Nm of torque, paired with an air-cooling architecture and titanium-finished valves. Dakar-eighties styling with high mudguards, round headlight and two-tone paint makes it instantly recognisable.

The V85 TT targets riders who prefer to take their adventure stylishly on tarmac rather than deep into a ravine, a crossover between scrambler, retro trail and light tourer. Competitors include the BMW R nineT Urban G/S, Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and Yamaha Tenere 700. It is comfortable for long rides thanks to upright seating, wide bars and 23-litre tank, and at 229 kg wet still manageable for an 850 cc adventure. The TT Travel and Strada variants add luggage, fairing extensions and tuned tyres for different use profiles.
