About the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally
The Triumph Tiger 900 Rally is the off-road-oriented variant of the Tiger 900 line, introduced in 2020. The liquid-cooled 888cc inline-three produces 95 hp with an uneven firing order that delivers characteristic urgency and low-down torque. The Rally model distinguishes itself with a 21-inch front wheel, longer travel suspension, higher ground clearance and standard Metzeler Karoo tyres.
The Tiger 900 Rally targets adventurers who want to ride seriously off-road without going to the extremes of a full enduro. It is a genuine two-way machine: comfortable on motorways thanks to a windscreen and electronic rider aids, and capable on gravel with the tuned front suspension. It competes with the BMW F 850 GS Adventure and Honda Africa Twin.

What to check before buying
- Check suspension setup (front and rear) for correct adjustment; many owners remap the factory default; verify it has been done correctly.
- Inspect Metzeler Karoo tyres for wear; off-road use wears these faster than tarmac riding.
- Verify the adventure electronics packages (cornering ABS, IMU) are functioning correctly via the instrument panel.
- Check handlebars and levers for damage from off-road use; minor drop damage is common.
