About KTM

KTM is an Austrian motorcycle brand from Mattighofen. Hans Trunkenpolz started the business in 1934 as a car and motorcycle workshop. Today KTM is one of Europe's major motorcycle makers, with Husqvarna (since 2013) and GasGas (since 2020) as sister brands. KTM is best known for off-road riding: the SX and EXC models for motocross and enduro, and the Dakar Rally, where KTM won the motorcycle class for many years in a row. On the road, the line-up covers the Duke naked bikes (since the 620 of 1994), the RC sportbikes and the Adventure models, from the 390 Adventure to the 1290 Super Adventure.

For Dutch buyers KTM is a sporty and relatively light alternative to the Japanese and European competition. The 125 Duke and 390 Duke are popular first bikes, while experienced riders often look at the 790 Duke, the 890 Duke or the 1290 Super Duke R. For motocross and enduro bikes it pays to check the service history and the running hours or kilometres carefully. On MotorMonitor you compare current stock from dealers, marketplaces and private sellers by model and price range.
