About the Honda ST 1100
The Honda ST1100 Pan European was introduced in 1990 as a fully integrated sports-tourer aimed at the European market. At its heart is a 1084 cc V4 engine, the same cylinder configuration as the legendary VFR750, delivering strong power from low to high in the rev range. The ST1100 was ahead of its time: standard ABS, linked braking (CBS), and hard panniers were available well before these features became commonplace. Production ran until 2002, when the ST1300 succeeded it.
The ST1100 targets experienced riders who want to cover long distances in comfort without sacrificing the enjoyment of riding. At around 297 kg, it is substantial, but the low centre of gravity makes it manageable for riders with some experience. The seat height of 790 mm is moderate.
