About the Honda CB 1000 R
The Honda CB1000R has two substantially different generations. The SC60 (2008–2017) is the angular naked with a road-tuned Fireblade engine; the SC80 (2018–2023) is the lighter Neo Sports Café with ride-by-wire and 107 kW. The 2021 update added TFT, connectivity and Black Edition trim. Black Edition is not a separate engine family: its core specifications match the updated SC80.
