The Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe (FLSTN) is an American heritage cruiser with a rear-sprung look and a fully chrome-laden appearance that recalls the style of the 1950s. Powered by the Twin Cam 96 (later 103 and 107) V-twin, it delivers over 100 Nm of torque low in the rev range. Harley produced the Softail Deluxe from 2004 to 2017, after which the model was absorbed into the new Softail line-up.
The Softail Deluxe targets riders who want the most luxurious, chrome-heavy look of the Softail family: fully chromed fenders, whitewall tyres, and a buddy seat. The hidden rear suspension gives a hardtail look with modern comfort. It competes with the Indian Chieftain and Honda Shadow Phantom.
