About the Indian Scout Rogue
The Indian Scout Rogue is a stripped-down, blacked-out variant of the classic Scout, introduced for 2022. Power comes from a liquid-cooled 1133 cc V-twin producing 100 hp, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The Rogue sets itself apart with flat bars on a taller riser, a solo saddle, and an all-black treatment covering the engine, wheels, and chassis. The frame and dynamics are shared with the standard Scout.
The Scout Rogue targets riders who want a no-nonsense street cruiser with raw, bobber-inspired looks without sacrificing the Scout's proven powertrain. Ergonomics are marginally more aggressive than the standard Scout thanks to the raised, flat handlebar. Rivals include the Harley-Davidson Nightster, Triumph Speed Twin 900, and Honda CMX1100.

What to check before buying
- Check the solo seat for cracks and loose mounting hardware; the aftermarket-style saddle is prone to wear.
- Inspect the blacked-out engine finish for peeling or discolouration, especially around exhaust ports.
- Check the handlebar and riser for play or loose bolts; the taller riser can work loose under hard use.
- Inspect the wheel coating for stone chips and corrosion; the black spokes are susceptible to damage.
- Test first-gear engagement when cold; notchy cold shifts are a known characteristic on Scout-platform bikes.
