About the Ducati Multistrada V2
The Ducati Multistrada V2 is the middleweight adventure tourer with 19/17-inch wheels, comfortable upright ergonomics and modern Ducati electronics. The first V2 uses the 937cc Testastretta 11°; from 2025 there is an all-new 890cc V2.
The S has richer equipment and electronic Skyhook suspension, but Red is a colour variant only. The older 937cc and new 890cc motorcycles differ materially in engine, maintenance and weight, so they must remain strictly separate.

What to check before buying
- On the 937cc V2, verify documented timing-belt and desmodromic valve-clearance service for the correct model-year interval.
- Test TFT, ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control, quickshifter and TPMS for fault-free operation.
- Check cooling system, water pump, hoses and radiator for leaks, and inspect charging voltage and battery.
- Test hydraulic clutch, final drive, suspension and steering-head bearings for wear or play.
- On an S, test Skyhook suspension and verify original components; Red is not a separate technical trim.
