CFMoto is a Chinese motorcycle brand founded in 1989 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. The company has evolved rapidly from an engine and parts manufacturer into a full-fledged motorcycle brand with a wide range: naked bikes, adventure tourers, and sports machines. Key models include the 700CL-X (neo-retro naked), the 700MT (adventure tourer), and the sportier 675SR. Technically, CFMoto maintains a close partnership with KTM, which raises the bar for engine quality and ride dynamics.

In the Netherlands, CFMoto is gaining traction quickly, particularly among riders who want a lot of motorcycle without the Japanese or European price tag. The dealer network is expanding but less dense than established brands. The typical Dutch CFMoto buyer is a value-conscious rider for whom the price-quality ratio is decisive. Servicing is manageable through authorised dealers and importer Thunderbike, though the used-market volume in the Netherlands remains relatively modest.
