Beta

Beta Motor is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, founded in 1904 in Florence. The company began as a bicycle maker and transitioned to motorised two-wheelers in the mid-twentieth century. Beta is globally recognised for its trials and enduro motorcycles, segments in which the brand ranks among the very best. Well-known models include the Beta Evo (trials), the RR series (enduro, two-stroke and four-stroke) and the Xtrainer (trail/enduro entry model). Beta also competes in motocross with the RX series. The factory riders compete annually in the Trial World Championship and the Enduro World Championship.

In the Netherlands, Beta is available through specialist off-road and trials dealers. Brand recognition is strong among trials and enduro riders but limited among the broader public. The target audience consists almost exclusively of off-road riders: trials competitors, enduro athletes and trail riders who spend most of their time off tarmac. Beta motorcycles have a solid reputation for quality and competitive performance. Parts and servicing are available through the importer and specialist dealers. Second-hand inventory is limited but stable in residual value.
