The Benelli TNT 125 is a mini-naked launched in 2017, aimed at A1 licence holders and urban commuters who want the look of a larger streetfighter. Power comes from an air-cooled 125 cc single with SOHC and four valves, producing around 8 kW (11 hp) - just inside the A1 limit. The design is bold: wide spine frame, chunky USD fork, muscular tank and a stubby tail that make the bike look squat and aggressive. Both wheels are 12 inches, giving a sporty and agile feel.
The TNT 125 targets younger riders who want a streetfighter look without the price or complexity of a full-size naked. At around 117 kg wet and with a low 780 mm seat height it is accessible and easy in town. The ride is genuinely lively for the class, helped by the short wheelbase and small wheels. Motorway use is possible within the A1 envelope but is not its strong suit. Closest rivals are the Aprilia SX 125, Honda MSX 125 Grom and KTM 125 Duke.
Check chain tension and sprockets - short chain length wears fast under aggressive urban use
Inspect USD fork legs for stone chips and oil leaks; many bikes live a hard life
Check seat upholstery and tank flanks for wear from boots and bag straps
Ask for service history - many TNT 125s have had several young owners
Test brakes and ABS sensors; the 12-inch wheels sit close to the ground and the sensors get dirty
