About the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT
The Yamaha Tracer 9 GT is a sport-tourer launched in 2021 as the top trim of the Tracer 9 lineup. It shares the 890 cc CP3 triple with the MT-09 and produces 119 hp, but adds full-LED lighting, a two-piece aluminium dash with twin 3.5" TFTs, semi-active KYB suspension, cruise control, heated grips and standard panniers. Kerb weight with panniers is around 220 kg and the seat sits at 820 mm. From 2024 the Tracer 9 GT+ adds radar-assisted adaptive cruise as standard.
The Tracer 9 GT targets riders who want MT-09 punch combined with proper touring capability. It is well suited to weekend rides with a pillion, long motorway sections and spirited solo riding.
