Years
2022 - present
From 2022 the TMAX gained a new front end, seven-inch TFT, lighter wheels and revised ergonomics. The 562 cc drivetrain remained, while controls, connectivity and steering response became more modern.
Years
2020 - 2021
The first TMAX 560 enlarged the parallel twin to 562 cc and combines maxi-scooter comfort with a stiff aluminium frame. The former DX specification gave way to standard and Tech MAX versions.
The Yamaha TMAX 560 is the top trim of the TMAX maxi-scooter and has been built since 2020. The 562 cc parallel twin is uprated over the older 530 cc unit and produces around 48 hp through a CVT drive. Kerb weight sits near 218 kg with the seat at 800 mm. Standard equipment includes three riding modes, traction control, ABS, smartphone connectivity and, on the Tech Max, a 7" TFT display, heated grips and an adjustable screen and seat.
The TMAX 560 targets commuters who want the simplicity of an automatic combined with motorcycle-grade performance. It is well suited to urban commuting, longer motorway stretches and, for those who appreciate the comfort, two-up trips. Direct rivals are the BMW C 400 GT, Honda Forza 750 and Kymco AK 550; the TMAX stands out with motorcycle-like ride feel and the most developed chassis in the class.
A used Yamaha Tmax 560 costs on average €13,990 on MotorMonitor. Most examples fall between €9,750 and €17,199, based on 110 motorcycles currently for sale.
MotorMonitor currently compares 110 used Yamaha Tmax 560 motorcycles, gathered from several Dutch marketplaces and dealer sites.
The average used Yamaha Tmax 560 is from 2023 and has around 8,793 km on the odometer, based on the current supply.
