About the Triumph Tiger 1200
The Triumph Tiger 1200 is Triumph's flagship adventure tourer, built around a 1,215 cc T-plane inline triple with shaft drive. The engine produces around 110 kW (150 hp) and pulls cleanly from low revs with the brand's signature triple character. The Tiger 1200 replaced the older Tiger Explorer in 2012 and was completely overhauled in 2022 with a new chassis, semi-active Showa suspension and substantially reduced weight. It comes in GT trims with cast wheels for paved touring and Rally trims with spoked 21"/18" wheels for serious off-road use.
The Tiger 1200 targets experienced riders who cover long distances and want to combine comfort, luggage capacity and off-road capability.
