2026–heden GSX-S950 TFT
GenerationFrom 2026 the GSX-S950 gained a five-inch TFT colour display and Euro 5+ homologation. The 999cc/70 kW base remained unchanged; Street Xtreme and Plus are accessory packs, not separate generations.
Years
2021 - 2025
2021–2025 GSX-S950 70 kW
GenerationThe first series makes 70 kW from the 999cc inline-four and uses the original instrumentation. A 35 kW A2 mapping exists as a separate homologation status; without hard evidence, this 70 kW reference remains authoritative.
About the Suzuki GSX-S 950
The Suzuki GSX-S950 is a big naked using the GSX-S1000's liquid-cooled 999cc inline-four in a 70 kW, 92 Nm tune. It has existed since 2021 and combines an aluminium twin-spar frame, radial Tokico calipers and a relatively low 810mm seat. It is not a 950cc engine: actual capacity is 999cc.
Suzuki also supplies the GSX-S950 as a 35 kW A2 version. Because adverts often merely say that A2 is possible without confirming which mapping the individual motorcycle has, that technical status is not inferred from free text. Check registration and dealer paperwork. The 2026 model-year update brings a five-inch TFT display and Euro 5+ homologation; Street Xtreme packs are accessories, not a separate engine version.

What to check before buying
- Confirm from registration and dealer evidence whether the bike is 70 kW or genuinely 35 kW; the possibility of conversion does not automatically make an offered bike A2-legal.
- Check chain, sprockets and adjustment; the inline-four's strong torque makes a poorly maintained set apparent quickly.
- Test ABS, traction control, ride modes, Easy Start and dashboard; on 2026 bikes also check TFT readability and operation.
- Inspect fork legs, calipers and discs for leaks, sticking pistons or uneven braking.
- Check aftermarket exhausts, ECU work and wiring for invoices and tidy installation; accessories or a Street Xtreme pack do not change type approval.
