Royal Enfield is a motorcycle brand with origins in Redditch, England, where it was founded in 1901. Since 1955, Royal Enfield motorcycles have been manufactured in India; the current owner is the Indian conglomerate Eicher Motors, which has significantly expanded the brand over recent decades. Royal Enfield is known for its neo-retro single and twin-cylinder machines with a classic character: the Bullet, the Classic 350, the Meteor 350, the Himalayan (adventure), and the modern 650 Twin range (Continental GT, INT 650, and Super Meteor 650). Globally, it is one of the highest-selling motorcycle brands by volume with a strong mid-market position.

In the Netherlands, Royal Enfield appeals to a broad audience: riders seeking nostalgic riding pleasure, beginners looking for a characterful entry-level bike, and travellers using the Himalayan for adventure touring.
