The early VT750C is the classic American Shadow with a low seat and shaft drive. Verify year and carburettor version because market models differ substantially.
The Honda Shadow 750 is a middleweight cruiser powered by a liquid-cooled 745 cc 52-degree V-twin, built for relaxed highway and back-road cruising. The series ran from the early 1990s through 2014 in several flavours, VT750C (Aero), VT750C2 (Spirit), VT750CS (Phantom) and VT750C2B (Black Spirit), with wire or alloy wheels, belt or shaft drive, and a low 660-680 mm seat. The styling follows the classic American cruiser recipe with chrome, wide front wheel and a deeply scooped saddle.
The Shadow 750 is a sensible entry for cruiser riders who want a reliable V-twin without the Harley-Davidson sticker, and remains popular with A2 licence holders (some variants restrict to 35 kW). It is comfortable solo and two-up, takes hard luggage and screens with ease, and stays forgiving around town thanks to a low centre of gravity. It competes with the Yamaha XVS650 Drag Star, Suzuki Intruder VL800/VS800 and Kawasaki VN800.
