Years
2024 - present
The regular Street Glide was fully renewed for 2024 with a frame-mounted fairing, new infotainment and the 1923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117. This is not CVO-only: a 2024-on year plus 1923cc/117 is sufficient evidence for this generation.
Years
2017 - 2023
The 1868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 belongs to stronger Street Glide and Special versions within the modern Touring family. This row matches only 1868cc, 114 or an explicit FLHXS/Special reference, so a standard FLHX is not given an inflated displacement.
Years
2017 - 2023
The regular Street Glide gained the stiffer Touring chassis and 1745cc Milwaukee-Eight 107 in 2017. It is identified by 1745cc/107 or a regular FLHX reference; without that source evidence a modern advert is not automatically labelled a 107.
Years
2012 - 2016
From 2012 the FLHX used the 1690cc Twin Cam 103, with noticeably stronger pull for two-up and luggage use. It remains the pre-2017 Touring design; the revised chassis and Milwaukee-Eight arrived only afterwards.
Years
2006 - 2011
The original FLHX Street Glide combines the batwing fairing with the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 and a six-speed gearbox. This is the early air-cooled touring generation; 2006–2011 and 1584cc belong together, not with the later 103.
The Harley-Davidson Street Glide (FLHX) is a bagger-tourer defined by its fork-mounted batwing fairing and rigid saddlebags. Current bikes use the Milwaukee-Eight 107 or 114 V-twin; earlier generations ran the Twin Cam 96, 103 and 110, and the 2024 model year brought a new chassis and the Milwaukee-Eight 117. Introduced in 2006 as a stripped-down alternative to the Electra Glide, the Street Glide has grown into one of Harley's best-selling models.
It targets long-distance riders who want highway capability and luggage without the full dresser fit-out. A low seat height around 700 mm, low-rev torque and a fairing-mounted infotainment system make it comfortable for solo and two-up touring. Direct competitors are the Indian Chieftain, Honda Gold Wing F6B and BMW K 1600 B.
