2018–heden Sport Glide
GenerationThe Sport Glide is the versatile FLSB Softail, with the Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-twin, belt drive and a detachable mini fairing. Standard panniers and the quick-release fairing make it more useful for a weekend away than a bare cruiser without losing the low, relaxed riding position. It works for solo touring and commuting. Check fairing and luggage mounts, belt wear and rear-suspension condition when buying used.
About the Harley Davidson Sport Glide
The Harley-Davidson Sport Glide (FLSB) is a Softail cruiser introduced in 2018 as part of the all-new Softail family. It combines a removable windscreen and compact saddlebags with a stripped-back Softail base, making it at home for daily use or weekend runs. Power comes from the Milwaukee-Eight 107 air-cooled V-twin with 1745 cc displacement, producing around 84 hp. The frame uses Harley's stiff Softail platform, which replicates the look of a hardtail via a hidden mono-shock rear suspension.
The Sport Glide suits riders wanting versatility without committing to the full-dresser look of a Road or Street Glide. The windscreen and bags detach in minutes for a stripped naked profile. A 690 mm seat height keeps it accessible for average-height riders. It competes with the Indian Scout Bobber Twenty and Honda CMX1100 Rebel for riders after a functional yet stylish cruiser.

What to check before buying
- Check the windscreen mounting points for cracks or play; a known weak spot on bikes regularly ridden with the screen removed and refitted.
- Inspect the Milwaukee-Eight for oil seepage around the rocker boxes and primary cover, a documented characteristic of early Milwaukee-Eight engines.
- Assess the braking performance: stock brake power can feel modest for riders transitioning from more sporty machines, especially when loaded.
- Check secondary chain tension and wear on higher-mileage examples.
