The ‘525’ name does not denote engine capacity; it refers to Cagiva’s 500GP heritage. This is therefore a 125 cc sport motorcycle, not the Mito 500 concept or a larger four-stroke.
The SP525 combines an aluminium beam frame, USD fork, 320 mm front disc and 129 kg dry weight with the characteristically high-revving nature of a two-stroke.
