About Boom Trike
BOOM Trike was a German specialist in production trikes, founded in 1990. The marque built large three-wheelers with wide rear tyres and often automotive-based engineering, aimed at long-distance riding and a pronounced custom look. BOOM Trikes was a familiar name in the European trike segment for many years; its historic vehicles stand out through their low seating position, large engines and proprietary chassis construction.
In the Netherlands, BOOM Trikes are a niche choice. On a used example, check registration, licence requirements, brakes, drivetrain and availability of body and chassis parts. Maintenance often requires both motorcycle and automotive knowledge. A well-documented trike is considerably more valuable than a cheap example with an unclear conversion or service history.
