About the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100
The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 arrived in 2015 as the larger, torquier development of Aprilia's V4 naked. Its 1,077cc V4 is derived from the RSV4 and combines superbike performance with a wide bar, reduced bodywork and more usable road torque. RR and Factory share the engine base; Factory chiefly adds Öhlins suspension and lighter parts. Bodywork was redesigned in 2021 and output rose again for 2025.
The Tuono suits experienced riders wanting supersport pace without extreme clip-ons. It is more comfortable than an RSV4, but heat, wind pressure, fuel use and servicing costs remain those of an exotic V4.
