About the Voge R 125
The Voge R 125 is a fully faired 125cc supersport from Chinese manufacturer Voge (a Loncin sub-brand), aimed at A1 and AM riders who want a proper sport-bike silhouette without the price of a Japanese or European 125. It runs a liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder four-valve engine with EFI, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Output is capped at the 11 kW (15 hp) A1 ceiling, but a low ~145 kg kerb weight and slippery fairing make it feel more eager than the spec sheet suggests. The chassis is a steel beam frame with an upside-down fork, monoshock at the rear, and disc brakes with ABS at both ends.
The R 125 targets young riders who want the look and ergonomics of a middleweight supersport while staying inside the A1 licence class. Posture is committed: low clip-ons, rear-set pegs, and a sloping tank, fine for short blasts and trackdays, less comfortable for long-distance touring. Its natural rivals are the Yamaha YZF-R125, Honda CBR125R, KTM RC 125 and Aprilia RS 125; those have stronger reputations for build quality and dynamics, but the Voge counters with more equipment per euro and a sharp showroom price.

What to check before buying
- Inspect the paint and fairing panels for stone chips and stress cracks; the Chinese paintwork is thinner than Japanese rivals' and chips easily.
- Check the chain and rear sprocket for wear; factory lubrication is sparse and young owners often skip drivetrain maintenance.
- Watch the ABS warning light and the TFT/LCD dash during the test ride; electronic gremlins are a recurring topic on owner forums.
- Inspect the fork seals for weeping oil; hard braking during the run-in period can start a leak.
- Ask about dealer service history: Voge's Dutch dealer network is still young and not every importer keeps tidy records.
