About the Voge 800 Rally
The Voge 800 Rally is the flagship adventure model from Chinese brand Voge, the premium label of Loncin. It uses a 799 cc parallel-twin (sharing its architecture with engines Loncin builds under licence for KTM/Husqvarna) producing roughly 70 kW (95 hp). Compared to the road-biased 900 DSX, the Rally is overtly offroad: 21"/18" spoked wheels, longer-travel suspension, a plastic tank and stripped-down rally bodywork.
Voge positions the 800 Rally for riders who want a serious adventure bike at a price well below a KTM 890 Adventure R or BMW F 900 GS. Ergonomics are upright with a slim midsection for standing, and a TFT dash, riding modes and cornering ABS come as standard. Closest competitors are the CFMoto 800 MT-X, Aprilia Tuareg 660 and Yamaha Ténéré 700. Best suited to mid-experienced riders who actually plan to ride offroad rather than just dirt-road touring.

What to check before buying
- Check the TFT dashboard firmware revision; early bikes had lock-ups and menu glitches.
- Parts availability in the Netherlands is limited; verify the dealer network and lead times before buying.
- Inspect panel fit and paint on tank and fairing; finish lags behind Japanese competitors.
- Test clutch and brake lever feel; high-mileage owners report heavier action over time.
- Look for coating breakthrough on frame, sidestand and exhaust if the bike has been ridden through winter.
