About the Vespa GTS Super 310
The Vespa GTS Super 310 became the new top tier of the GTS line in 2024. Its 310 cc HPE (High Performance Engine) is a liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke with four valves producing 17.5 kW, opening a larger gap to the outgoing 300 cc model and ranking among the fastest classic-styled scooters in the segment. ABS, traction control, full LED lighting and a 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity are standard.
The Super 310 targets riders who also use their scooter on the motorway and refuse to trade Italian styling for a plastic maxi-scooter. The pressed-steel monocoque, 12-inch wheels and telescopic front fork preserve the trademark Vespa ride in a contemporary package. Direct competitors include the Honda SH350i, Yamaha XMAX 300 and Sym Joymax Z+ 300, none of which offer the steel body or the residual value of a Vespa. An A2 licence is sufficient.

What to check before buying
- Check the TFT cluster firmware; early units have known connectivity bugs with the Vespa Mia app.
- Inspect the monocoque around the seat and luggage well for rust, especially on outdoor-stored scooters.
- Ask for variator and drive belt service history (15,000-20,000 km interval).
- Test the LED headlight and TFT brightness; wiring at the steering head can wear through.
- Watch the exhaust silencer and downpipe for corrosion; salt damage appears quickly.
