The Italjet Dragster 300 is an unapologetically Italian maxi-scooter for riders who find a conventional commuter scooter too anonymous. Its 278 cc single sits in a rigid aluminium trellis frame with Italjet's distinctive independent front suspension. That makes it feel more direct and look far more exotic than most scooters in this capacity class. The Dragster is principally a design statement, yet its engine and CVT transmission remain useful in town, on urban ring roads and for short motorway trips.

It suits a rider who values compact parking and wants a scooter that will not disappear at a bike meet. Do not expect the luggage practicality, weather protection or widespread dealer support of a Yamaha XMAX or Honda Forza. For a used example, sound set-up, undamaged suspension parts and dependable parts supply matter more than mileage alone.
