GenerationThe 2000–2003 TT 600 is Triumph's 599 cc four-cylinder supersport with aluminium frame and high-rev tune. Pay particular attention to injection setup and software history, charging voltage, chain set, brakes and signs of track or crash damage to fairings, steering stops and frame.
About the Triumph TT 600
The Triumph TT600 is a British inline-four supersport produced from 2000 to 2003. Its 599 cc four-cylinder engine produces around 108 hp, packaged in a compact, fully faired chassis with distinctive twin under-seat exhausts. Triumph built the TT600 to compete directly against the Japanese 600 cc supersport class, marking the brand's return to the middleweight segment.
The TT600 suits experienced riders rather than beginners, the committed riding position, high footpegs and direct steering make it best suited to circuit days and twisty roads. It competed against the Honda CBR600RR, Kawasaki ZX-6R and Yamaha YZF-R6. Production ended in 2003 when it was replaced by the Daytona 600, so today's market is exclusively used examples.

What to check before buying
- Check the under-seat exhaust collector joints for rust and hairline cracks; the heat routing stresses the surrounding frame area.
- Early 2000–2001 models had fuelling issues with the carburettors; confirm a carb rebuild or jetting correction has been carried out.
- Inspect the front forks for leaking seals and worn steering head bearings, especially on bikes used on track.
- Check the cooling system and water pump area for seeping coolant; a known weak point at higher mileages.
- Ask for valve clearance service history; checks are due every 16,000 km and are often skipped on budget examples.
