About the Suzuki GSX-S 1000 GX
From 2024, the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX is Suzuki’s tall sport crossover with the 999cc inline-four, 110kW, 106Nm and Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension. With a 19-litre tank, upright ergonomics and long travel, it is intended for fast long-distance riding, but it is neither the GSX-S1000 naked nor the fixed-fairing GSX-S1000GT. Accessory packs, luggage and colours do not create a separate technical edition.
This 2024–current generation matches only an explicit GSX-S1000GX/GX source. A generic ‘Suzuki GSX’ or an S1000 without GX remains unresolved and is not pushed into the naked, GT or GX family. At purchase, electronic suspension, dash, rider aids, brakes, chain, tyres and correct calibration after service matter more than accessory claims.

What to check before buying
- With ignition on and on a test ride, test electronic suspension, ride modes, ABS, traction control and dash for fault-free operation.
- Inspect fork, shock, brake discs and calipers for leaks, damage or uneven operation.
- Inspect chain, sprockets, tyres and wheels; the high output and luggage use load these parts heavily.
- Check fairing, screen, steering stops and luggage mounts for drop damage or overload.
- Ask for software updates, service invoices and any factory campaigns; confirm accessories are fitted correctly.
