About the Qooder QV3
The Qooder QV3 is a Swiss three-wheeled scooter/quadricycle produced by Qooder (formerly Quadro) from 2017 onward. The QV3 features three wheels (two front, one rear) and a 300 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with fuel injection producing around 28 hp. Its defining Hydraulic Independent Suspension (HIS) system allows each wheel to move independently, letting the Qooder lean like a motorcycle while also standing upright when required, so no balancing or foot-down skills are needed at a stop.
The QV3 targets riders who want scooter convenience combined with four-wheeled stability. It is ideal for urban commuting and daily transport. In many countries, riders with a car (B) licence can ride a four-wheeled Qooder without a motorcycle certificate. Ergonomics are comfortable with an upright position and high handlebars. Alternative choices include the Yamaha NMAX, Kymco AK 550 or Piaggio MP3.

What to check before buying
- Check the HIS hydraulic units for leaks; this system requires specialist maintenance at an authorised Qooder dealer.
- Inspect all four brakes (two front, one rear) for even wear; the extra wheel means more brake maintenance than a standard scooter.
- Ask about tyre condition: front tyres are QV3-specific and can be hard to source.
- Check the steering linkage for play; loose connections have been reported on higher-mileage machines.
