Calibro

The Moto Morini Calibro is an Italian bagger-cruiser built around the 1187 cc Bialbero V-twin from the revived Moto Morini brand, introduced in 2022. The engine is a 1187 cc parallel twin with water-cooling and DOHC valve timing, producing around 95 hp. The design blends American bagger elements, large fairing, integrated panniers, elongated silhouette, with Italian craftsmanship and materials. Kerb weight is around 265 kg, placing it at the lighter end of the bagger category.

The Calibro targets riders who want the bagger riding experience but prefer European motorcycle identity over American V-twin tradition. Ergonomically the position is relaxed with a low seat height (around 700 mm), making it accessible for shorter riders. On the motorway the fairing provides effective wind protection; for aggressive cornering the weight is a limiting factor. Competitors include the BMW K 1600 GTL, Harley-Davidson Street Glide, and Indian Chieftain, all larger and heavier.
