About the Kymco Xciting 400i
The Kymco Xciting 400i is a sporting GT scooter with a liquid-cooled 399 cc single, CVT and substantial bodywork. The first generation arrived around 2013; the S 400i from 2018 gained a sharper chassis, Noodoe connectivity and newer styling. From 2022 the VS 400 added keyless operation, traction control and revised lighting. All generations combine motorway performance with luggage space and a relatively large 15-inch front wheel.
It suits commuters wanting more stability and power than a 300 without the mass of a 500-class scooter. Seating is spacious and protection useful, although parking weight is noticeable. Check CVT servicing, cooling, steering-head bearings and electronics. Proposal images of Xciting 250 and 500 models were rejected; only an exact 400 photograph is used.
