The KTM Freeride E (also known as the Freeride E-XC) is an electric off-road motorcycle introduced by KTM in 2014 as one of the earliest electric enduro bikes on the market. The Freeride E uses a permanent magnet motor delivering up to approximately 18 kW (peak), fed by a 260 Wh (later 2.6 kWh) lithium-ion battery. Ready-to-ride weight is approximately 111 kg, comparable to petrol enduro bikes in the 250cc class. KTM fits WP suspension front and rear for serious off-road performance.
The KTM Freeride E targets trail and enduro riders who want to enjoy off-road riding without noise or emissions, ideal for areas where combustion engines are restricted. Range per charge is limited to approximately 1.5–2 hours of intensive riding, making the Freeride E less suited to long day trips but perfect for focused short sessions. Rivals include the Stark Varg and Beta RR Electric. Charging via a household socket takes approximately 80 minutes for a full charge.
A used Ktm Freeride E costs €6,000 on average. Most cost €5,960 to €9,519. This is based on 3 motorcycles for sale now.
