The KTM 390 Adventure is the A2-friendly entry to KTM's adventure family. Beneath the orange plastics sits the same 373 cc single as in the 390 Duke and RC 390, tuned here for 44 hp and 37 Nm. The lengthened steel trellis frame, WP APEX suspension with 170 mm of travel and 19/17-inch wheels deliver real off-tarmac capability without challenging the 800 class. Standard equipment includes cornering ABS, traction control and a TFT display with smartphone connectivity. From 2024 onwards the Adventure line splits into a road-biased 'Adventure' and an off-road focused 'Adventure R' with spoked wheels and longer travel.
The target rider is the A2 licence holder who wants to tour, or the experienced rider looking for a light second bike for solo mountain passes and gravel use. At around 158 kg dry and an 855 mm seat, it is approachable and capable. On the motorway it cruises briskly to 160 km/h but quickly feels undersized for long stages with luggage.
