About the Ktm 1390 Super Duke RR
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR is the limited, further sharpened version of the 1390 Super Duke R. Around the 1,350 cc LC8 V-twin, KTM combines lighter components, high-grade WP suspension and a more aggressive track-focused setup. The RR remains fundamentally a road-legal hyper-naked, whereas the RR Track removes road equipment and is intended entirely for circuit use.
This is not a sensible stepping-stone motorcycle: immediate torque, compact geometry and expensive special components require experience and careful control. For collectors, the serial number, original exhaust, carbon parts and accompanying documentation are essential. Riders using one on track should also examine suspension setup, tyre heat cycles, brake wear and any crash damage. Before buying, establish clearly whether the bike is a regular RR or the non-road-legal RR Track.

What to check before buying
- Inspect carbon bodywork, wheels, steering stops and engine covers carefully for crash or transport damage.
- Ask for evidence of the first service, software updates and any dashboard fault codes.
- Inspect brake discs, pads and tyres for heavy circuit use and repeated heat cycles.
- Check the WP suspension for leakage and record setup values before changing adjustments.
- Verify serial number, homologation, original parts and documents; the RR Track is not road legal.
