The Kawasaki KX450 is a motocross competition bike built around a 449 cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine. Kawasaki introduced the KX450F (later renamed KX450) in 2006 as a four-stroke answer to the dominant Honda CRF450R. Over the years the KX450 evolved into one of the most technically refined bikes in its class, with electric start (from 2019), launch control, and traction control standard on later models.
