CTX 700

The Honda CTX700 is a low, relaxed touring motorcycle sold from 2014 as the partially faired CTX700 and the unfaired CTX700N. Its 670 cc parallel twin is related to the NC700 range and was designed around fuel economy, accessible torque and early upshifts rather than high engine speeds. At roughly 35 kW it fits the A2 licence without restriction. Most Dutch-market examples combine Honda's six-speed DCT transmission with ABS; manual versions exist but are uncommon locally.

It suits riders looking for a very low seat, easy controls and practical touring ability. The footrests sit farther forward than on a conventional tourer, while the centre of gravity remains low. DCT makes urban traffic and relaxed trips straightforward, although limited cornering clearance and modest peak output discourage aggressive riding. The faired version provides more wind protection, while the N feels lighter around the front. Alternatives include the Honda NC700/750, Kawasaki Vulcan S and Yamaha XJ6 Diversion, depending on the preferred riding position and weather protection.
