The Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited is the flagship of the Road Glide line, a fully equipped, frame-mounted tourer with the iconic 'Shark Nose' fairing bolted directly to the frame tubes rather than to the forks. This is the key distinction from the Road King and Street Glide: the fairing does not turn with the handlebars, which reduces vibration transfer and improves high-speed stability. The engine is the Milwaukee-Eight 114 (1868cc) with 159 Nm of torque. Standard equipment includes the BOOM! Box infotainment system with two fairing speakers and two in the rear.
The Road Glide Limited targets serious touring riders who cover hundreds of kilometres per day. The frame-mounted fairing provides excellent wind protection, and the lockable saddlebags plus top box mean you can depart without strapping on extra luggage. Electrically adjustable windscreen, heated seats, and the Harman/Kardon audio system make long stages more comfortable. It is, however, a large and heavy motorcycle, unsuited to narrow city streets or inexperienced riders.

Check the BOOM! Box infotainment for software updates and touchscreen responsiveness; older versions can be sluggish.
Inspect the Milwaukee-Eight cooling fins and coolant for leaks; the water/oil-cooled cylinder heads add complexity.
Be aware of the weight when parking and at low speeds; 416 kg demands experience and strength when manoeuvring.
Check tyres for wear and age cracking; heavy touring tyres on wide rims are expensive to replace.
Verify the frame-fairing mounting hardware for vibration damage, especially the upper mounting bolts on high-mileage examples.
