924 cc · 105 hp
The CFMoto 1000MT-X is the flagship of the adventure range, powered by a 924 cc parallel-twin derived from the KTM LC8c motor that produces around 78 kW (105 hp) and over 100 Nm. The chassis is a steel trellis with inverted forks and a monoshock with semi-active damping. The X variant runs a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear on tubeless spoked rims for light off-road duty. A 7-inch TFT with CarPlay, cornering ABS, riding modes and cruise control are standard. The bike launched in 2024.
The 1000MT-X targets riders who want the footprint of a KTM 890 Adventure or Honda XL1000 Transalp at middleweight money. A 23-litre tank and 830 mm seat make it usable for weekend trips and longer two-up touring with luggage. It competes with the KTM 890 Adventure, Honda XL750 Transalp and Yamaha Ténéré 700; CFMoto's edge stays the kit-per-euro proposition rather than dealer network or residuals.

Check the cornering IMU and ABS for fault codes; early units have shown sensor faults.
Confirm the factory software update for the TFT and CarPlay has been applied; older firmware crashes.
Inspect the spoked wheels for tension and corrosion, especially after off-road use.
Look for oil seepage at the water pump and cylinder head; common starting points on KTM-derived twins.
Ask for the full service history; timely valve checks are critical for parallel-twin longevity.
