About the Yamaha Xenter 150
The Yamaha Xenter 150 is a large-wheel city scooter with a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 155cc engine, CVT and 16-inch wheels. It is built for everyday town and regional use: agile, stable on poor surfaces and more practical than a sporty scooter. It is not an NMAX; engine, chassis and model history are separate.
When buying, inspect CVT, injection, brakes and the condition of the large wheels. A test ride should be free from judder, steering vibration or brake pull. Check panel mounts, fork and charging voltage, and ask about belt and roller service. The light update from 2015 mainly changed usability and styling details, not the basis of this 155cc Xenter.

What to check before buying
- Check CVT belt, rollers and clutch for judder, slip or delayed engagement.
- Test cold starting, injection and throttle response; inspect fuel lines and intake rubber for leaks.
- Inspect radiator, hoses and coolant for leaks or overheating.
- Inspect fork, steering-head bearing and 16-inch wheels for play, distortion or kerb damage.
- Test brakes, charging voltage, dashboard and panel mounts for function and parking damage.
