About the Yamaha Rayzr
In current Dutch inventory, the Yamaha RayZR is the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid: a light urban scooter with an air-cooled 125 cc Blue Core single, automatic stop-start and electrical launch assistance from its Smart Motor Generator. The hybrid label refers to this brief assistance; the scooter cannot propel itself electrically. At roughly 99 kilograms, with large wheels and smooth delivery, it is designed mainly for dense urban and suburban traffic.
The RayZR suits riders prioritising low weight, fuel economy and simple controls. It is A1 compatible but not intended for Dutch motorways or sustained full-speed use. On imported examples, verify the exact type, European approval and parts availability. A healthy bike starts immediately, operates its stop-start system without faults and has a quiet, smooth CVT. The older 113 cc Ray ZR sold in Asian markets is a different model and should not be mixed with these current 125 cc listings.

What to check before buying
- Check the type plate, registration and displacement; older 113 cc imports are not the same RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid.
- Test cold starting, stop-start and the Smart Motor Generator; a weak battery causes starting and warning faults.
- Check CVT belt, rollers and clutch servicing and listen for rattling or judder when moving away.
- Inspect plastics, wheels and steering stops for delivery or crash damage and confirm local parts support before buying.
