About the Triumph Rocket TFC
The Triumph Rocket TFC is the limited, carbon-fibre and premium-component version of the third-generation Rocket 3. Its enormous 2,458cc triple produces exceptional torque, while the TFC is finished more lightly and exclusively than the regular R and GT. The name means Triumph Factory Custom, so this is a rare 2019 factory specification rather than a separate motorcycle family.
A Rocket TFC is for the rider seeking both the dramatic engine and collectability. It is more refined than the old Rocket III despite its capacity, but remains a long, heavy power cruiser that rewards experience. When buying, completeness, numbered TFC documentation, original carbon parts and specialist service matter. Exclusive replacement parts are expensive; low mileage does not make up for damage or missing original components.

What to check before buying
- Confirm the numbered TFC documentation, both keys and original carbon components are present; replacements are costly.
- Inspect carbon pieces, tank and silencers for drop or parking damage, and check their mountings are intact.
- Ask for dealer service evidence and test warning lights, riding modes, ABS and traction control on a ride.
- Check tyres, brake discs and pads for wear; the torque and weight load consumables heavily.
- Inspect coolant, radiator and cooling fan for leaks or stone damage.
