MP3 Yourban

The Piaggio MP3 Yourban is the compact city version of the three-wheel MP3 scooter, introduced in 2011 and offered with 125 cc and 300 cc four-stroke single-cylinder engines. Compared with the standard MP3 it has a narrower front track and shorter wheelbase, which makes it noticeably more agile in dense city traffic. The tilting front end with two steered wheels remains the defining feature: extra grip on wet tram rails and manhole covers, plus a hydraulic suspension lock that keeps the scooter upright at a standstill without putting a foot down.

The Yourban is aimed at urban commuters who want filtering agility and wet-weather stability without the bulk of the MP3 500. The 300 cc version provides enough power for ring roads and provincial routes, while the 125 cc serves as a brisk commuter that fits into a single licence category. Step-through space and storage are generous, but the Yourban is deliberately tuned for the city, long motorway stretches are better suited to its larger siblings.
