Dragster

The MV Agusta Dragster is Schiranna's muscle-naked, a streetfighter introduced in 2014 as a Brutale 800 derivative and from 2018 sold as its own model line. Beneath the stubby tank sits the 798 cc inline-three with counter-rotating crankshaft and reverse shift pattern, hung in an aluminium trellis frame and rolling on a striking 200-section rear tyre over a five-spoke wheel. The tall bar, abbreviated trumpet exhausts and angular LED headlight produce the model's signature chopped silhouette. Variants include the base, RR, RC and limited America editions, with peak outputs spanning roughly 110 to 140 hp.

The Dragster suits riders who value boutique-Italian character over practical comfort. A tight cockpit, thin saddle and short wheelbase make it perfect for urban darting and a late-evening canyon run, but less so for motorway hauls or two-up touring. Standard fare includes riding modes, traction control and a slipper clutch; later model years added a bidirectional EAS quickshifter. Direct rivals are the Triumph Street Triple RS, Ducati Streetfighter V2 and Aprilia Tuono 660. When inspecting one, verify the exact trim because the difference between RR and RC determines wheels, suspension and brake calipers.
