Years
2006 - 2010
Brutale 910 R (2006–2010)
EditionThe 910 R gained roughly 140 hp, radial Brembo brakes and lighter forged wheels for sharper handling. The R designation is essential because capacity and years overlap the S.
Years
2005 - 2008
Brutale 910 S (2005–2008)
EditionThe 910 S enlarged the inline-four to 909cc and combines roughly 136 hp with the classic Brutale chassis. S or 910 S is required because the stronger R was sold in the same years.
About the Mv Agusta Brutale 910
The MV Agusta Brutale 910 is the four-cylinder naked that broadened MV's range in 2005 as the successor and complement to the Brutale 750. Powered by a 909 cc inline-four with radial valves, it produces around 136 hp and was the first Brutale to take on a clearly sporting brief. Defining traits include the steel trellis frame, short tail, round headlight and triple exhaust. Variants such as the 910R and 910S refined equipment and weight.
This Brutale is for riders chasing Italian flavour over outright sportbike performance. It is agile through corners and delivers brisk acceleration, but the riding position is fairly forward and the throttle abrupt, so it is not a beginner machine. Period rivals include the Ducati Monster S4Rs and Triumph Speed Triple. Expect intensive maintenance and a memorable soundtrack from the three pipes.

What to check before buying
- Check service history strictly: valve clearances, chain tension and oil changes are critical on these Italian fours.
- Inspect the triple exhaust for corrosion and correct mounting; OEM replacements are costly.
- Ask about clutch replacement and master-cylinder leaks; early units are notorious.
- Watch for oil seepage around the cylinder head, timing cover and rear shock.
- Verify that the instrument cluster and all warning lights work; Italian electronics from this era can be temperamental.
