The Daytona RS is the 992cc four-valve sport Guzzi with 102 hp; it is technically distinct from the two-valve 1100 Sport.
The Moto Guzzi Daytona RS is a later, sharper Daytona RS with a four-valve V-twin from 1996-1999. It uses 992 cc, 2 cylinders, about 77 kW (105 hp) and 95 Nm. At 220 kg with a 790 mm seat, it fits the sport class; stated top speed is around 235 km/h. These are reference values, so always verify year and specification against registration, numbers and documentation.
The Daytona RS is distinct from the earlier 1000 Daytona: sharper tuned and rarer. The buying decision hinges on specialist care, documented belt service and whether the sporting ergonomics suit you. A good test ride should show easy starting, even throttle response and safe brakes. On an older example, invoices, original parts and inspection by a marque or classic specialist are more valuable than assumptions drawn from an advert.
